We have so many memories of Jemma it would be hard to pick one single memory. As a child she was not always easy she certainly knew her own mind and was not afraid to use it. She looked angelic until she opened her mouth( god knows where she got that from!) but she used to make us laugh even then. It is not a secret that as Jem grew older we argued like most mothers/daughters do, after looking after her medical needs for so many years it was difficult to stand back and let her deal with her illness in her own way and on her own terms! Jade was a huge help during these times as she used to encourage Jemma in a sisterly way and of course having her nieces made her determined to keep as well as possible, ok so there was a bit of blackmail now and again!!! I think a list of Jemma anecdotes would be amusing too, think her favourite saying was dickhead, I fell into this category lol. We will miss her always but try and think of the positive things to make life without her bearable. X
